Countryside - Land of lush rolling hills, moon-chanting hippies, and miles of virgin waves.

Over the years, surfing in these neighboring states has come to mean very different things to two very different groups of people. For Gold Coast surfers it is a business: contests, training camps, giant surf shops, and a commitment to surfing performance. For NSW country surfers it is a religion: daily liquid communions, pre-dawn rituals, hand-shaped surfboards and devotion to the trim line.Meandering through the dreams and routines of different wave riders, the stereotypes begin to peel away exposing the fruits of our commitment to fun, friends and good waves.... we're all the same Under the Sun
